Leninbund

Leninbund (Lenin League): organization founded by Ruth Fischer, Arkadi Maslow and Hugo Urbahns in 1927, after their expulsion from the German Communist Party. Fischer and Maslow capitulated soon after the capitulation of Zinoviev and Kamenev in the Soviet Union in late 1927; then Urbahns took over the leadership. The German followers of Trotsky initially collaborated in the Leninbund, but in 1929 there was a growing number of conflicts, and finally a break.
